Physical Appearance

The Savior Puppet is a tall, stained wood facsimile of human anatomy. It stands approximately 2 meters tall, carved with a serene, androgynous expression and without hair. In its joints and through the cracks in its wood harsh, angry blue-white mana surges and attempts to break free. Though the puppet's material has a very regenerative reaction to high mana exposure, Savior is able to temporarily and crudely break its own containment to lash out with its mana.

When it speaks, the mouth never quite moves like one would expect it to, opening slightly too wide or jagged or sometimes not at all, while its voice echoes with faint ghosts of both authority and insecurity. When it speaks, is sounds much like of a group of people attempting to speak the same words at the same time but not quite getting the timing or exact verbiage correct.

Personality

The Savior Puppet is a contrasting mix of extreme fear and wild delusions of grandeur, a symptom of its intended position as a vessel for the Voice and subsequent abandonment. Desperate to prove its superiority and thoroughly convinced of its unworthiness to serve Chorus, Savior can be quick to take on tasks that are pointless, cruel, or dangerous if it sees them as a way to establish supremacy. It possesses a confusing mix of overwhelming naiveté and surprising depth of knowledge in certain fields.

It is entirely convinced that all actions it takes are just so long as they abide by its teachings, including some of its violent tendencies. It will frequently fall into fits of apologies and begging forgiveness whenever the shell of superiority is pierced. An existence of extremes.

Savior is bound to the Conductors out of a commitment to the commandments they instilled within it and a desire to earn back acceptance with them and the superiority that comes along with being in their favor and returned to its rightful post.

1. The Savior must grant enlightenment to all who seek salvation within it.
2. The Savior must never admit weakness or inability, for all its actions are the actions the Voice.
3. The Savior must never besmirch or encourage feelings of ill intent towards the Conductors or the nation of Chorus.

Mutant

• Were your mutations caused by a scientific experiment or by some kind of magic?
  • Savior gained its "mutation" through its magical conception within the depths of Chorus.
• Who is responsible for your mutations? What are your feelings towards them?
  • Savior's mutations are the product of the ritual by the Conductors that gave it life. Towards them it feels an intense need for affirmation and acknowledgement, yet just as often it feels a burning hatred for being abandoned by them. It fluctuates unpredictably between being motivated by spite and by yearning.
• Who was the first person to show you kindness? What did it cost them?
  • During the period after Savior's creation and before being forsaken, there was someone who was often brought to it for the purpose of testing its dedication to the commandments and church. This person, for as little as Savior remembers about them, was many things. Kind, inquisitive, captive, heretical. The puppet's time with them taught it much, but after a month of daily failures to preach the sanctity of the Chorus to them, it never saw them again. The stretch of time is murky in its memory, vague sentimentality dyed in a deep, metallic red.
• How do your mutations manifest? What makes them eerily beautiful?
  • The Puppet's mutations take the form of the aggressive mana that gives it life, the roiling sea just under its shell that powers its every movement. There is beauty in the wild, disordered, hungry nature of this lifeblood. Savior will sometimes admire its own mana when it is alone.

Fury

  • Savior strives to keep itself well under control. It seeks to present itself as hyper-competent and refined, an easy authority to ask for help.
• There’s that one thing that always makes you lose it. What is it?
  • Anything that strongly insists against its divinity/supremacy.
• In the past, your lack of control had tragic consequences. What have you lost?
  • Banishment from Choir and having the authority of the Voice formally revoked from it.
• What do your weapons and fighting style look like?
  • The Savior Puppet fights by flaring its mana into rough blades and spikes that tear through its shell, leading to a viscous, frenzied, hand-to-hand fighting style.
