Gwyndlyn - Mistrust [1✦]
Jurisdiction is drawn to Gwyndlyn out of a strange sense of familiarity, which has enabled her to be the first person able to wield Jurisdiction's core. Unfortunately, she has yet to prove herself in battle, so it cannot fully trust her as a comrade in their quest for revenge.
History
Yuris Dicllon was born from a seed of the World Tree, long before any recorded history. It was the primordial spirit responsible for the element of fire, and created the landmass known as Tect'Syir by utilizing geothermal energy in an a excessive and explosive demonstration of power. She held residence in the heart of the island's primary volcano, where she enjoyed the perks of being worshiped as a nature deity, but was otherwise ambivalent to the lives and ambitions of non-spirits.
Character Questions
Xiphosymbiosis
- How were you created?
- I was the primordial fire spirit at the heart of Yuris Dicllon, a massive volcano forming the landmass of Tect'Syir. A wizard climbed to its peak and formed a pact with me to grant them the power to forge what they claimed would be the most powerful weapon in the world. Once completed, they warped our pact to trap me in its core as fuel. I hold the deepest resentment towards them for this.
- Do many like you exist?
- The nature of my creation is such that another weapon like myself cannot exist, and if someone were to mimic such a process I would see to it that they were destroyed.
- Is this your first wielder? Who did you refuse to join forces with?
- My creator underestimated my power when they tried to wield me. I would never align myself with someone who has betrayed my trust so fully, regardless of their intentions. I have rejected many wielders since. I do not wholly trust my current wielder, but I am amused by her attempts to appease me. She's familiar, somehow...
- Do you crave freedom?
- Naturally. This form is far inferior to that of my spirit form.
